Michael Osgood
My name is Michael Osgood and I am a full-stack web developer and a huge science enthusiast. I have completed a comprehensive full-stack coding program through the University of California, Irvine and have a Bachelors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Currently, I work as a User Acceptance Tester for an innovative software company in Irvine, California.
Throughout my tenure, I have acquired valuable experience - from assisting clients on the operations side of software - to collaborating with development teams to resolve bugs. In my current role, I have gained extensive knowledge developing and testing software using Agile. Through the full-stack coding program, I learned how to use many technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, MySQL, MongoDB, AJAX, APIs, Node.js, media-queries, GitHub and Heroku to name a few. The experience I possess working for tech companies coupled with the knowledge I have acquired through the full-stack coding program have helped me tremendously on the journey to become a developer. I truly enjoy the challenges and accomplishments that come with full-stack web development. Thank you for visiting my site and please check out my applications on the Portfolio page and feel free to leave me a message through the Contact page.
